Winter Events

Saturday Jan 30, 9am- noon. Snowshoe walk. Join us for a 4-mile loop that includes SWLA’s new Hemlock Hollow trail. Meet at the Whitten Hill trail on the Halldale Rd. in Montville.

Saturday, Feb 20, 10am – noon. Winter ecology. Retired Unity College professor and naturalist Mike Shannon will awaken our senses to life in this cold season as we notice winter signs and discover how life adapts to winter. Meet at Whitten Hill trail where it crosses the Halldale Rd. Snowshoes are suggested.
