Join us for a bird walk with ornithologist and environmental educator Seth Benz.  Seth is the director of Maine Audubon's Hog Island Camp and is a former faculty member and Education Director of the Audubon Expedition Institute. Seth's knowledge of and passion for learning and teaching about birds is exceptional. You won't want to miss this wonderful experience. Meet at the Bog Brook trailhead on the Halldale Road in Montville.

Hike Goosepecker Ridge. Join us for a hike across Goosepecker Ridge, SWLA's latest trail addition.  The trail winds through a lovely variety of woods and fields from the Freedom Pond Road on the edge of Freedom to the Penny Road.  The distance is approximately 3 miles. We'll meet at the trailhead (not up until spring) on the Freedom Pond Road just east of the junction with the Goosepecker Ridge Road.  A shuttle will be arranged to get people back to their cars.
